Church History
The Christian Arabic Church was founded on both the pillars of evangelism and discipleship. The vision goes back to the beginning of the nineties when a handful of Christians had the same vision and motive to reach millions from the Muslim world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their native language.
To fulfill this vision, the journey began in 1994 with reaching out to Arabs attending the soccer world finals in New York City and followed in 1996 in Atalante, GA and then in 1998 in France and Greece 2004. While the church continued to reach out to the Arabs in the southern California areas and practically in Anaheim City which it is resided thousands of Arabs
We also have continued to expand our ministry by purchasing time from the available Arabic broadcasting on both local and global stations, as well as passing out recorded gospel messages on cassette tapes at that time. In additional to the published the first Christian Arabic website “Nafaza.com” to share the gospel with the Arab world in their native language.
The vision continued to flourish, and as a result the Christian Arabic Church was established to be a launching pad for that mission. Pastor on 1993 and Pastor Nabil Abraham was ordained in September of 1993 and Pastor Samuel Samaan in Nov 2002.
The church begins to add ministries as needed such as Sunday school, youth program, young adults, new family ministries, Men and Women ministries as well as Second Generation ministries for College and Graduated students.
We continued to sow the Gospel seeds independently reaching Arabic gatherings everywhere such as the Arabic Festivals, door to door evangelizing, and passing tracks and Bibles in the streets and malls for almost 20 years.
In 2007, The church begins to board cast it services on air through the satellite channels locally and internationally in addition to several special programs.
After the Arab springs in 2011, The church was flooded with many refugees and immigrants from all Middle East countries. The Church took a step by faith and started to provide support to those who in needs of food, medical services and paperwork. In additional to several serving days including medical service and other services.
In August 2015 and after the war broke out in Iraq & Syrian and hundreds of thousands of civilians fled for their lives, CAC took a different evangelistic approach. We formed teams of Christian doctors, nurses, counselors, Sunday school workers and other ministries to reach these thousands of Iraqi and Syrian refugees and offer our Christian humanitarian and medical assistance in Jordan where they escaped from the terrorist and extremist Muslim organizations. We supported these people in areas of nutrition, medical, social and psychological needs.
In 2016, The Church was successful in fulling a 40 ft container with cloths, toys, and medical supplies to the refugees in Erbil, Kurdistan.
In 2018, the church had another successful mission trip to Lebanon to serve among the Syrian refugees’ campuses.
Since it’s the church established, the church was renting a space to worship from other churches. Now the Lord has blessed us with a building in the city of Fullerton (was owned by SC Islamic institute) to be the center of our Christian Arabic evangelism, we are even more decided and committed to continue fulfilling the vision that God entrusted us with to reach out the lost and disciple the believers and equip the saints to serve the and minister to others.
We are very grateful to everyone in the congregation for their positive role in enhancing our mission to accomplish what the Lord mandated upon us and with your help and dedication we will see God’s kingdom expanded.
We are so excited to have this new board undertake their new role to extend God’s kingdom in the best possible way.
May the master use all of you in his or her role and capacity to achieve and fulfill His purpose.
